Service Description

Constructing warm, comfortable homes that are easy and efficient to heat is a complex matter of design, regulation compliance and construction knowledge. We are increasingly finding new homes that are not compliant with Regulation Part L and built with deviations to design and best practice, leading to cold rooms and high energy costs. Our base service is a thermal performance inspection that diagnoses defects leading to cold, involving a thermal scan (internal and external) and inspection of the construction method and materials, including the roof/eaves/loft space. This base inspection can be expanded to include an intrusive cavity investigation to inspect the presence, density and type of cavity insulation.
